Mcguire|If you are considering teaching a class on the history or philosophy of science, this book should be on your reading list. It is a well-thought out and clear history and analysis of the whole "anomalous water" thing by a scientist who wasn't involved, but was familiar with the issues and characters involved.
Polywater was supposed to be an alternate form of ordinary H2O in which the molecules were linked to produce a strange new substance, denser and far more viscous than water, which remained a liquid all the way from -70 degrees Fahrenheit to almost 500 degrees.
